Traveling through an unknow region of space, an astronaut and his droid carrying a set of mysterious orblike objects suddenly encounter catastrophic ship failure near the orbit of an uncharted planet. After the crash scatters pieces of the ship, the droid, and its contents along the surface of the planet, the traveler awakens to find he is haunted by mysterious beings who guide him to his lost assets for unknown reasons. After all hope is lost, the crew of shadow beings reveal their intentions to be less helpful, than they are ... scientific.
